Highlights of the #uniquebooktour 2018
Since its launch in August 2018, My Unique Child has been warmly welcomed by the special needs community and guest-starred at various events. We look back on some memorable moments.

HOJ is a parent-led support group for autistic individuals and their families. The group runs a weekly programme for children and youth, and regularly organises events for the whole family to attend.
At the recent mid-autumn festival gathering held at Constant Wind Seasports Centre on 22 Sep 2018, each of the 35 families present received a physical copy of My Unique Child.

Birthed out of Singapore Fashion Runway, Fashion for a Social Cause opens up the world of fashion and design to the special needs community, where youth and young adults learn runway modelling and various design-related skills.
The social enterprise recently set up a physical space for retail and training. At its official opening on 6 Oct 2018, author of My Unique Child, Jasmine Goh was invited to be a panel speaker to share her views on special needs.
Chapel of Christ our Hope
Located within St Andrew’s Autism Centre, Chapel of Christ our Hope is an Anglican church that holds ASD-friendly services every Sunday morning.
Each of the 30 ASD families present at the Sunday service on 14 Oct 2018 received a physical copy of My Unique Child.
Special Needs Engagement Weekend @ St John’s-St Margaret’s Church (SJSM)
SJSM organised a Special Needs Engagement Weekend that ran from 27 Oct to 28 Oct 2018. All its services throughout the weekend were centred on how the bible approaches disability and special needs.
During the service, Jasmine shared with the congregation about her journey of how God led her to write the book and His heart for special needs families. A book table was set up after the service for members of the congregation to browse and buy books related to special needs.
